MY STORY

From military service to ministry, with people at the center

My background includes infantry service, aviation, Psychological Operations, small business ownership, and humanitarian ministry in Ukraine. Those experiences taught me to take responsibility seriously, listen across differences, and care about how plans affect real people.

Through nonprofit and missions work, I've helped coordinate volunteers, develop partnerships, and communicate the needs of communities affected by conflict. Through Bible teaching and mentorship, I've seen how much young people need adults who will listen and remain dependable.

My Christian faith is central to my life and work. I believe leadership is a responsibility to serve, and that a person's worth reaches deeper than a title, a uniform, or an accomplishment. That conviction shapes my writing, my approach to ministry, and my commitment to people navigating change.

I'm a co-founder of Vet Nation and the author of When the Uniform Comes Off. My public communication has included teaching, leadership conversations, and podcast work exploring faith, responsibility, community, and purpose.

If you lead a church, a youth-serving organization, a nonprofit, or a community gathering, I would welcome a conversation about how I can contribute.

HOW I LEAD

Three habits I try to bring to every room

Listen carefully

Understanding people and their situation comes before advice or a plan.

Speak plainly

Clear, honest words help people trust what they hear and know what to do next.

Follow through

Care is proven over time, by showing up and doing what was promised.
